A 6-week program centered on the art of bookbinding, bringing together diverse materials to craft unique books. Participants explored poetry, expressing themselves through artistry, reflection, and shared experiences, fostering connections with one another.

An art program in collaboration with the June Callwood Centre for Young Women (Jessie’s) explores topics such as nature, indigenous teachings, and artistic expression. Participants engage in drawing sessions featuring flowers, earrings, pottery, and more. Inspired by the interconnectedness of art and nature, the program aimed to create a safe space for all.

This two-day art event took place at the Haliburton County Youth Wellness Hub. Artist Noelia Marzial teamed up with youth participants to paint a collaborative mural project, capturing the essence of both the participants and the broader Haliburton community. The artwork is proudly displayed outside the center.

An art program unfolded for a day at the botanical garden in Hamilton, bringing together support staff from various centers to collaboratively create an art collage using various fabrics. Participants immersed themselves in the garden's natural surroundings, fostering connections with one another, and also having dedicated time to drawing and painting.

A four-week art program prioritizing well-being through practices like breathwork and mindfulness. The sessions include drawing and doodling to enhance the holistic experience.

Participants in the program had the opportunity to engage in various activities, including the expressive art activity, which encouraged self-exploration through plant interactions, or the seed pack activity. Beyond that, there were opportunities to connect with nature through activities like coloring land-based mandalas, crafting unique greeting cards using birch bark, and crafting sticker-based stories. The underlying philosophy behind each of these activities was to utilize mindful art as a means to promote mindful art as a powerful tool for relaxation and fostering creative expression.
